Our process
and fees

We believe that financial planning is not all about your money; it’s about you, your life and what you want to get out of it. So, whether that is working towards a happy retirement, long-term financial security or protecting your loved ones, your goal is our goal.

We believe financial advice should be clear, transparent and agreed in advance – so you always understand what you are paying and why.

At the same time, no two clients are the same. The cost of advice depends on the level of planning, analysis and implementation required, and this isn’t always fully clear at the outset.

That’s why our process starts with an initial conversation at our expense. This allows us to understand your circumstances, what you’re looking to achieve, and whether we can genuinely add value.

Following this, we will provide a clear recommendation of the work involved along with a transparent fee, agreed with you before any chargeable work begins.

Our approach ensures:

  • No hidden costs

  • No unexpected charges

  • Complete clarity before proceeding

We do our best work with clients who are looking for long-term financial planning and typically have around £500,000 or more in investable assets. This allows us to deliver meaningful value through structured planning, tax efficiency and ongoing advice.

Stage 1 - Consultation
Getting to know each other and your goals

Our first meeting is about understanding you.

We’ll take the time to learn about your circumstances, what’s important to you, and what you’d like to achieve – both now and in the future. We’ll also explain how we work, the services we offer, and how our fees are structured.

This is a two-way conversation. It gives you the opportunity to decide whether we’re the right fit, and allows us to assess whether we can add meaningful value to your situation.

We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach – every recommendation we make is built around your individual goals.

Fees

There is no charge for this initial consultation.

This may include:

  • Cashflow modelling to test your plans

  • Investment and pension analysis

  • Tax planning opportunities
